We’ve been the biggest Pecs Drag Kings fans since we first had them at the festival in 2015, so we’re more than thrilled to announce the first Pecs x Brainchild Collaboration: DRAG CAMP – an intensive 5 week drag and cabaret course exploring dance, song and comedy in performance.
The Directors of Pecs will bring their years of experience working with those boys to lead you through the process of finding your unique drag character and developing an amazing act!
This course is for anyone interested in exploring the performativity of gender on stage. You don’t have to have performed in public before, but after a few weeks with Pecs, you’ll feel confident to get up and give it a go.
There’ll also be a public sharing for friends and family at the end of course (Location TBA).
Dates: 10th May – 7th June, every Thursday 6:30pm – 9:00pm
Location: Weeks 1 – 4 at Platform Southwark, Week 5 TBC
