bb sway is the solo project of Ashley Grace, a 22-year old artist originally from Hong Kong. Currently producing all of their own music in a tiny bedroom somewhere in South London, much of bb’s currently released music can be associated with the sounds of Dream Pop, Lo-Fi and Psychedelia, with influences including Men I Trust, Khruangbin, and Crumb.
Having been featured by magazines including Complex, CLASH, DIY, and The Line of Best Fit, their music has also often been added to Spotify and Apple editorial playlists such as Lo-Fi Indie, Chilled Pop Hits, Indie Pop, Fresh Finds, New Music Friday, The Other List, and New in Alternative. bb sway’s releases have been played on BBC Radio (1, 2, and 6), and have often featured on BBC Introducing.
bb sway will be coming to Brainchild with their full band to play their new ‘Pearl’ EP.
