Burnout is Real

Ellie Stamp is a human, artist and activist. They use their participatory art practice to question what is often deemed as ‘difficult’ and challenge historical and current narratives around mental health, queerness and feminism.

Stamp will hold space for a conversational workshop at Brainchild to share practical tools whilst asking questions like – Can we reassess what societies values, now please! How do we practice self care and still pay the bills? If self care doesn’t extend to collective care is all just capitalism? Why do some people get to call it burnout and others just have a breakdown? How can I state boundaries and stick to them without feeling shame? How can all of this be light and still have the weight it deserves? How can we see beyond binaries in our everyday thinking?
