CDR is a Black-led community-driven organisation voicing new music, knowledge and progress with generations of music makers, fans and kindred organisations.
Born out of frustration with an industry that promotes hype and constrains growth, CDR set out to make the democratic potential of digital music making a reality. Stemming from their flagship ‘Session’, a night for aspiring producers to road test their ‘work in progress’ tracks at the iconic Plastic People; CDR have created safe spaces for countercultural musical development since 2002.
Our hands-on workshop led by Tony Nwachukwu will allow festival goers to produce their own impromptu creations.
