You, Me and the Distance Between Us

Ellen Muriel’s diverse solo theatre show exposes and challenges her experiences of being a long term volunteer in Europe’s refugee camps. She uses a combination of shadow and cloth puppets, slam poetry, acapella singing and humorous role play to bring alive the existential issues that surround this mass movement of people.

Since its creation in May 2016 the show has been performed 47 times in 6 different countries. Typically hosted in theatres, cafes, community centres and schools, Brainchild will be its first field-festival experience!
