We’re looking for folks to be part of our volunteer-based team of contributors for our blog. So far as a team we’ve produced beautiful, in-depth and well-read pieces on artists like Zakia, Pecs Drag Kings, Ariwo, 30/70, Sorority & Debtford.
Writers: You are someone who enjoys writing and are keen to build your portfolio in journalism, feature writing and interviewing artists. We’re expanding the ‘writing’ section of our website and inviting new wordsmiths to join us there. Through interviews, essays and maybe even creative writing, we’d like it to be a celebration of all the creativity and talent in the ever-growing Brainchild community whilst also telling the stories of some of the most exciting emerging artists around.
Photographers: You are someone who would like the opportunity to develop your photography of artists in creative/unusual ways and are building up a portfolio of work. Brainchild will share your photographs widely and get your work out there on our social media platforms. We hope to offer a useful portfolio building exercise where you can let your ideas run wild, and benefit from networking with artists and creative people who might commission your work in the future.
