Inspired by International Women’s Day, we thought we’d share this film made at our 2017 festival, interviewing some of the amazing female artists who performed at Brainchild, including Laura Misch, Alice Phoebe Lou, anu & Boko Boko, who talk about what they think needs to happen to make a more fair and balanced music industry.
This short film was made by the lovely Eva Grace-Bor and the other Brainchild TV volunteers that year.
Brainchild is proud to be part of PRS Foundation‘s Keychange, where alongside dozens of other festivals globally, we are pledging to achieve a 50:50 gender balance by 2020.
