Fish Tank is an audio-visual project blending analogue and digital media into immersive experiences.
Beginning at an interactive multi-media art installation, Sam Boullier and Elsa Hewitt sat for two days creating content on the spot. They adapted this into live visuals accompanying Hewitt’s atmospheric and ambient compositions, performing the most minimal and improvisational version of it at Brainchild 2017.
From the floor of a function room in York, they progressed to Royal Albert Hall and Jazz Cafe. Together with digital video artist and vision mixer Alex Campbell, they are re-expanding into a collective with quarterly events, creating new freeform pieces with musical and visual collaborators.
