Parasang is a live improvisation experience led by Iranian sound artist, Pouya Ehsaei (who played last year as part of Ariwo), and curated by himself and MANANA//Records founder, Harry Follett.
Following their run of weekly sessions in London this year, where each show was a one-off collaboration exploring the diversity of the city’s musical communities through electronic music, they are bringing an improvised set at Brainchild!
Back in March we invited Rosie Turton, Maria Osuchowska, Slam the Poet and Marley Drummond to join Pouya in a Parasang meets and the result was electrifying and mesmerising. Parasang will invite a number of artists form across the Brainchild programme and beyond to collaborate provides an opportunity for an exploration, treading the line between electronic and live music.
