Upcycling and mending your clothes is a radical act in a society where profit is valued of people and the planet. £140 million worth of clothing goes into landfill each year in the UK alone. We’ve reached a climate change crisis point. Let’s come together to make disposable fashion a thing of the past and collectively pledge to learn basic repair and upcycle skills to save money, get creative, and keep clothing in the loop and out of landfill.
Revival Collective have collaborated with our favourite maker Pomilly to bring you a guided workshop focusing on basic repair and upcycle skills for beginners. These are all skills we think anyone one can master. This workshop will empower you to save the planet, will save you money and is also super relaxing and mindful too. Please bring clothes to mend or you can practice the skills on fabric squares that will be provided.
